Jim McLendon offers his clients a distinctive blend of experienced investment guidance and personal service. He carefully evaluates his clients' investment goals before developing an investment strategy specifically tailored to their financial needs.
Jim began his career in 1994 as a consultant with Wachovia Securities (a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors) in Atlanta. He holds Series 7 (General Securities Representative), 31 (Futures Managed Funds), and 65 (Investment Advisor Representative) securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses (including annuities). Having attained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, he has received in-depth training on the duties of good faith and standards of care, insurance reviews, tax strategies, as well as estate planning issues and retirement planning.
A cancer survivor, Jim raises money for cancer research through various charities. He is an avid sportsman and is an accomplished marathon runner and Ironman competitor. He is passionate about giving back to the community and passing on some of his athletic talents and life lessons to young people by coaching football, soccer, and lacrosse in both school and league play. He is married to his wife, LeAnn, and is a father of three sons who often play on the various teams he coaches.
